"We will walk up a hill and we will dance" was written and recorded in November 2020, beginning as an exploration of the sounds of a 100 year old piano, leaning into all its wonkiness and warmth. It became an organic yet determined meditation on moving; a soundtrack to a hill walk, or to staring out the window, or to putting one foot in front of the other even if the way ahead is not clear.
